This is post #400.
I've been blogging for more than 5 years. Didn't expect that 'Ordinary Life' could last this long.
I started blogging in 2005, with my first post on April 6th. I was away then, watching the autumn leaves falling. It was my first autumn. I didn't know much about blogging, but I started reading blogs long before I started mine. Something that Scrubber wrote that time made me wanted to start mine.. I can't remember exactly, but it was something she wrote about living life alone, with no witness on what you do daily. Nobody knows what you feel that point in time, no one knows what you like, no one see the things you saw that day, no one ask what you think about things around you, no one cared. So I started writing just to share things... with a hope that somewhere on earth, someone would read on what I encountered that day, but they do not need to know who I am. The anonymity didn't last long, some friends found out that I blogged. So yang kenal, kenal lah... to others, I remain as Ubisetela.
In that 5 years, I saw some blogs shot to 'fame', some were shortlived, some blogs were closed after controversial posts, some poser-bloggers were unveiled and some lived to see them all. After meeting some bloggers, I found out that blogger groupies exist. Some blogs go with the other 'birds of the same feather'. Bloggers also gossip off-blogs. I don't think I belong to any 'group'. Neither here, no there. I just write about anything under the sun... I talk about food one day, lash out my anger the next day, talk about my infatuation for a rugby hunk or (shamelessly) tell about my encounter with a pria ganteng the next.
...and then... came Facebook! I could actually say that my blog is dying a slow death because of FB (and a little Twitter). I can say what I need to say at the moment with just one liner on FB status, or tweet. Blogging requires more effort than that. Hence, manusia malas ni lagi senang tulis kat FB!
Until I get my blog-writing mood back.. this blog will continue to contain mostly photos & a little writing.
To those who still read Ordinary Life and to those who visited, commented and to those silent readers, I THANK YOU.
