Today marks a year after I reached Kinabalu peak. I celebrated the anniversary by taking part in Penang International Hiking Challenge. My first ever entering a 'competitive' challenge. I usually go for FUN category where I take my sweet time taking photos & smell the flowers. So today, unprepared, I just did what I had to do & Alhamdulillah managed to finish it within the qualifying time.
The weeks before were challenging, I've been traveling Penang - KT weekly and sometimes twice a week as both ayah & mak were unwell. Ayah is ok now after his surgery 2 weeks ago & mak is recovering from a surgery that she had on Tuesday. Alhamdulillah.
