Saturday ramblings

I usually do my grocery shopping late at night on weekdays, less crowd and I don't have to 'drive' the trolley carefully to avoid trolley accidents. I went out earlier today, not so much for grocery shopping but to due to my rice craving. I didn't get a single grain of rice for more than a week already and I don't have rice in my food shelf. So I went off to the Hub at Hornby, to have rice and curry at Mediterranean something- I forgot the full name of that outlet.

I think I should start to do my shopping more on Saturdays. Saturday male shoppers are yummier- young & hemsemmmm. You get the sweet smiles and thank yous when you give way for their trolleys to pass. That one particular kiwi I met at Pak n Save today was really sweet... as sweet as 'ceklat nissang'.

I was standing in line at the check out counter when I saw a very old lady pushing her trolley out of the supermart. She could barely walk, I could see her shaking and the trolley actually helped to support herself. I found myself praying "Dear God, IF I'm destined to remain single and if I ever to live up to her age, old and weak, please make my nieces and nephews love me. Please don't let me live alone and do my own shopping."
Oh, I need to call my nieces & nephews after this!

Starting tomorrow I can watch Fifa WC matches LIVE! yeeeehaaaaa!! but I'm sad coz South Korea didn't make it to the second round. Sob.. sob.. bubbye Ahn!

So I read the market is still good in Johor: 66,185 to 32,117? That's about 2:1... Wait, they should make another survey - how many of those in 66,185 are gay?

I know a thing or two on how to escape from prison now that I've completed "Prison Break" Season 1 marathon. Watched an Indon movie while putting my files in order. I found myself in tears when seeing the couple in the movie being so happily in love. Ironic... but that's just me nursing my pms.

I've been doubling my doses of red meat, pasta, potatoes, chocs and junk food in my attempt to gain weight. It did not work! Just one week without rice and I lost 1.5kg. Kalau dah perut melayu tu.. melayu jugak!

Listening For The Weather

Weather Forecast for today - MetService

Listening For The Weather - Bic Runga

So I'm listening for the weather to predict the coming day
Leave all thought of expectation to the weather man
No it doesn't really matter what it is he has to say
'Cause tomorrows keep on blowing in from somewhere
All the people that I know in the apartments down below
Busy with their starring roles in their own tragedies
Sunlight sends you on your way
And those restless thoughts that cling to yesterday
Never be afraid of change
I'll call you on the phone
I hate to leave you on your own
But I'm coming home today
And this busy inner city
Has got nothing much to say
And I know how much you're hanging round the letterbox
And I'm sure that as I'm writing
You'll be somewhere on your way
In a supermarket checkout or the restaurant
I've been doing what I'm told
I've been busy growing old
And the days are getting cold but that's alright with me
Sunlight sends you on your way
And those restless thoughts that cling to yesterday
Never be afraid of change

Ubi- it ain't snowing today.. and I'm not coming home

Dinner?

It's getting colder.. I need more fat!

Mild, non-chronic WC withdrawal syndrome

Can someone please tell me when exactly I should be launching 'Emirates MatchCast on Yahoo'? as in how many hours before a game starts? I keep getting 'server was busy, please click the button to reconnect' everytime I do it. Don't ask me how many times I've been pushing button. That happens everyday and I had to resort to 'minute match info'... sgt hampeh!

Ubi- sick of not getting live telecast... is that why I keep getting headache these days? perhaps I should only stick to the WC I have at home.. the Water Closet
