I called CikNgah while I was driving home from a mall. Oh, saya yang buta gadget ni dah reti pakai bluetooth kereta! Tapi tadi masa dekat traffic light, dua orang mamat naik motor sebelah kereta saya gelakkan saya pasal saya berborak dengan penuh gembira sorang-sorang (no, I bukan perasan, memang diorang gelakkan I, siap tunduk tengok dalam kereta. Tak pernah tengok orang bercakap eh? Debik kang!!).
Back to cerita CikNgah, I spoke to Mak earlier and Mak told me the good news. Mijah, my cousin got married yesterday and on the same day Lina and Soleha gave birth to their babies, a girl and a boy. Both mothers and babies are healthy. CikNgah dapat menantu & 2 cucu on the same day. This morning, an engagement ceremony was held for Yatie, CikNgah's youngest daughter. So another menantu in the making. CikNgah told me that she was dok rok (tired) having to handle so much in a short time but she's grateful with all the good things that God has given her lately. She sounds happy too! She deserves it... she deserves to be happy! She went through hardships to make ends meet and raise all her 8 children after AyahNgah had a stroke 23 years ago. Yatie was still a baby back then, now she has grown up, has her own career and found her Mr.Right. I guess some fairytales really deserve happy endings.
Simah would be happy too... but Simah is no longer around. She left us more than two years ago.

Hish.. this was supposed to be a happy post, tapi bila I dig posts I wrote about Simah, I pulak yang nangis. *AlFatihah for Simah*
Oh, where was I masa semua sepupu sepapat duk sibuk kenduri dua tiga hari nih? On the road, from Penang to KL, 2 days there, pegi interview, got what I needed and back to Penang. Thank you Leng for keeping me company, or else, I could end up sleep-driving on the highway and get lost on KL roads. Dalam banyak2 lagu we karaOKed in the car, I love Rick Price's Heaven Knows the most!
Nak balik kampung... huwaaaaaaaa.
