Stinks!

*This happened over the weekend*

Euww!! Busuk! I sensed a bad smell while taking my shower. I was trying to figure out where the smell came from. Very sure it didn’t come from the bathroom or the toilet itself, they were spick and span (glad I got myself a clean roommate). I sniffed my wet palm. Euwww!! And up my wet shoulder.. ueww.. busuk! Gosh.. have I developed bad B.O? EUWW!!! Apasal nihhh?? Oh noo.. ok, must be the body shampoo turned sour, I checked, but the cream was ok.. no stinking smell from the bottle. I was like.. omygod.. what did I eat that turned myself into a stinking human? I wiped myself dry after shower, I noticed that the smell wasn’t there anymore. Was it the water? Couldn’t be.. no one in the house complain about it.

It was hell to think that I developed bad B.O! I put loads of talc that day to make sure that I do not emit any bad smell. Yes it was the right time that my EA Green Tea bottle is completely empty and I had no parfum to spray on my incase-bad-B.O-emitting-body.

Then in the evening it happened again.. I went straight to the bathroom when I got home to wash my hand after holding to the steel post in the LRT.. then I realized my wet hand smell like shit! Gosh, what did I touch just now? Euww! I washed my hand like three times with soap & water, but the smell was still there. Arghhh.. busuknya aku. Wiped em clean.. and I the smell gone. Again- must be the water, but why no one said anything? Yeah, may be because I was the new stranger flatmate.

So my fear ended today when I read the paper – "Klang Valley tap water stinks"

Yes, the tap water stinks…not me! *relieved*.

Facial cleansing is still a stinking job…. Euww.. busuk la air tu.

*Ubi tak busuk! Yeay!*

That vicious cycle

I had this very strange sad feeling inside. Wasn’t sure what triggered it. "Are you ok dear? you look sad," said a smiling old mat salleh as I walked through the parking lot next to a shopping complex. I was surprised he actually said that. "I’m ok" I replied with a fake smile. Gosh, I thought it was just in my head, I thought I did not display it on the outside.. out of so many people passed by me today, only the old man noticed and raised the case. Nice old stranger.

I walked into the shopping complex, past the cafĂ© lined sidewalks. I just did not know what to have for lunch. It was way past lunchtime. My brain didn’t function well, I supposed. I walked past so many restaurants around me. None caught my interest. I was hungry before, had not eaten anything since morning but the hunger was gone then. I walked out again. Past the parking lot again and back to the building where I was walking from.

Found an empty table at a mamak stall. I knew I was not going to eat, but I ordered something anyway. I stared at the rice on the plate, as if I was actually counting the grains. I was so used to be eating alone outside.. a pro at that. But this afternoon it was different… I felt a strange sense of loneliness in the crowd. Lonelier than ever before...overwhelming and too intense. I felt like crying my heart out. I was trying to figure out what made me feel that way, was it something that people around me did or didn’t do that made me sad?

"Kenapa nasi tara makan?" asked the mamak. I noticed he was observing me cutting the chick liver into tiny pieces, butI didn’t pop it into my mouth. I just smiled back at the mamak. I didn’t plan to get on with any conversation.

Thinking again.. thinking hard.. why the sadness?
Oho.. now I remember why.. it’s the time of the month again.
It was no one’s fault.
Blame it on the hormones.
I should never ever eat out alone again on my ‘off’ days.
I guessed last night's coffee made it worse.
It is suicidal, I tell ya!

R.I.P... in the sewer

Ubi’s series of unfortunate events.

Ok.. so I cut my thumb and I’m still not sure if my thumb nail will ever grow back to normal. But here’s another unfortunate event happened in a semi-D house in Aloq Staq few weeks ago… just days after I cut my thumb.

On one fine morning, I was about to squat on the squatting toilet when I saw something dropping in split second, fell on the bowl and ‘plup’ right into the hole. Then I found that my gold chain necklace was dangling from both sides of my neck. It actually unhooked itself and my pendant fell in the toilet bowl! I stood dumbfounded for a few secs.

Dang… the toilet was the type that the channel went way down that u can’t even see the bottom where the closet bend. I was not sure if it had a trap. Didn’t even know the toilet ‘anatomy’ anyway. Nicelandlady bought a torchlight to lit up the ‘tunnel’ hoping that we could salvage the pendant. We could not see the pendant at all. After hours of trying, I declared that it was totally gone.. I had enough korek and memancing in lubang jamban session that day.

Sad. That was one word to describe it. This mango shaped stone in shades of brown had been my all time favourite and the one I cherished the most. I love the pendant very much. I can’t remember when I first received the pendant. Mak told me long ago that my big bro bought that semi precious stone pendant for me. Well, I was his adorable adik bongsu then. I had that pendant on in most of my childhood pics and I’ve been wearing it for as long as I can remember.

Now gone. Ok, I am yet to tell mak about it. I hope she’ll never ask.

Note to Nicelandlady- if Indah Water Service comes for the sewer, could you please ask them if I could ever get my pendant back?

My PURRFECT lover

To those who visited this site for the past few weeks.. oh no.. exactly one month ago, I’m sorry, it took me too long to update. Sorry again for letting you ppl look at the ugly thumb again and again. So here’s my update.. Amir tagged me.. amboiiii.. spreading the misery answering cepumas questions yerr. Since dah lama tak update, okeylahh.. i buat.
DA RULES:
A. The tagged victim has to come up with 8 different points of their perfect lover.
B. Need to mention the sex of the target.
C. Tag 8 victims to join this game and leave a comment on their comments saying they've been tagged.
D. If tagged the 2nd time, there's no need to post again.

Whoa.. Did ya say PERFECT? Where can I find him? Mars? anyway, this is a hard tag to accomplish! I don’t keep a list actually. I don’t have that checklist in my head either but I will know what I do/don’t like when I meet someone. So here goes some brainstorming shortlist :D

A. THE 8 DIFFERENT POINTS
1. On love: He loves me completely and unconditionally. I’m not a beauty queen and I have my weaknesses so he must be able to accept me for who I am. At the same time he must be someone who can help me to be a better me.
2. On status: He doesn’t belong to any other woman (except for his mom la kan, I will always respect his mom-son bond). His single status must be valid. If he’s attached emotionally to another woman he will not be welcomed into my life. I will not break another woman’s heart. I don’t care if he’s the purrfect man of Malaya or whatever, if he’s taken, taragunalabeb! Shiooohhhh… pi main jauh2.
3. About himself: He’s a manly man. I am attracted to man who loves sports - football/rugby/etc. I love it if he’s actively involve in sports rather than just being a couch potato watching EPL… go kick a real ball, ok. He loves the outdoors, loves DIY thingy.. or at least he knows how to fix a minor leak (we all learnt ‘kemahiran hidup’, didn’t we?). Also, he should be protective when I need him to be.
4. On religion and faith: He’s a practicing muslim. I’m not asking for an ustaz. But the 5 pillars are wajib (ok, may be the Haj will be done sometime later in life). If he ever become my hubby (fuyoo. . I’m talking about marriage now? *Ubi in a state of disbelief*) I want him to at least be able to be the imam for my daily night prayers at home. Seriously, seeing my Mak salam cium tangan Ayah after prayer (or even the ones on TV) made me feel all syahdu inside like I’m losing out something life. My perfect lover should be able to remind me of my responsibilities (this should work both ways) and if God permits, he shall be a good example for our future children (ohmyGod, I’m talking about having kids already? Now run for your life guys.. RUN!!!).
5. On family ties: Family comes first He shows love and high level of respect to his parents and family members and he does almost the same when he sees mine. His family should be able to accept me and vice versa, family blessings should be from both sides. (Utamakan keluarga.. message by Ministry of Family Affairs.. I think I’ve heard this line repeated so many times in TV3’s Mya Zara)
6. On courteousness: He’s polite and treats me and everyone else with respect. He knows how to blend in with people from all walks of life. If he happens to be a high-flyer, he shouldn’t be blowing his trumpet when he speaks with others. Also, I will not stand someone who treats waiters/cleaners/etc. with disrespect.
7. On life: He’s positive, ambitious, smart and inspiring. He doesn’t need to have a long list of degrees in his name card (if he owns one), yet he’s intelligent and knows how the world works. He works hard and smart towards achieving his ambitions in life. He gives me space and emotional support to pursue mine. His positive look upon life inspires me to be a better person. We must also share our future goals together.
8. On attractiveness: He’s charming, attractive and communicates well with me. He does not need to be handsome gila *toot* (self censored) but I should find him attractive. It’s not just about physical traits. It’s the whole package. He should able to make me laugh, cheers me up when I’m down and makes me feel comfortable when he’s around and together we can talk about everything under the sun.
aikk.. the shortlist dah jadi panjang! layannn.
B. The target must be a 100% MALE. ‘Mesti Tulen & Ori’ :D

C. The 8 tags go to… aisey most blogs I visit dah kena tag la. .. haulawey??

1. Scarlet76
2. Dr. Nurul
3. Dr. BiusBiru
4. Madnessinvain
5. Hobo
6. tiga 6 tujuh
7. Ok.. who wants to do some tags.. just do it.
8. dah tak der lahhh.
Ok friends, over to you now.
